NCM Associates, Inc. delivered a custom automotive training program for the Fred Beans Management Company of Doylestown, Penn. on April 21-23, 2010.  Forty-one Fred Beans management personnel were trained locally by NCM Institute Center for Automotive Retail Excellence faculty on the NCMi™ “Principles of Used Vehicle Management” curriculum.

Forty-one Fred Beans Management personnel were included in the Principles of Used Vehicle Management training program conducted at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Chesterbrook, Penn. on April 21-23.  According to NCMi instructor, Tony Albertson, all the participants were focused and engaged in the interactive program. “We had a great class of professionals who were eager to improve on some specific areas in their Used Vehicle operations.”

Garry House, a long-time NCM Consultant to the Fred Beans Management Company and class co-instructor, observed that the organization has a culture that is dedicated to the professional development of its managers. “Fred Beans has always been committed to developing human resources through continuous training,” he said.  “His organization is very process-oriented and already excels in many areas of used vehicle management.  This NCMi training program was custom-designed to focus on those processes that could be significantly improved at the Fred Beans Family of Dealerships.  All General Managers and Used Vehicle Managers in attendance were very focused and attentive to the NCMi concepts presented and discussed.  As a group, the Fred Beans managers returned to their stores—with Action Plans developed and documented—intent on doubling the controllable profitability of their Used Vehicle Departments.”

Beth Beans Gilbert, Fred Beans Management Company Vice President, was on hand to coordinate the large training program.  She had high praises for NCM, as well.  “We’ve been long-time NCM clients, working with Garry House on a number of on-site consulting projects since 1990,” she said.  “The depth and breadth of experience and guidance Garry has provided to our dealership, along with our involvement in six NCM 20 Groups, has been the catalyst for countless profitable improvements in our dealerships over the past 20 years, so I’m very pleased, and not at all surprised that NCM delivered a first-class training program that met our specific needs and at our convenience.”

“We’re pleased to have been chosen as the preferred training provider by the Fred Beans Management Company for their Used Vehicle Management training needs,” said Paul A. Faletti, Jr., President and CEO of NCM Associates.  “Our training leadership is founded upon decades of experience in the ultra-competitive automotive industry and we are proud of our heritage of providing in-depth, real-world dealership training that can be put into action immediately.  With the added convenience of localized delivery and customized curriculum for a specific dealership’s needs, the benefits are even more immediate.”
