CarGurus Adds Consumer Marketing Executive
GarGurus has named Sara Welch senior vice president of consumer marketing. The 10-year marketing veteran previous held executive marketing roles at Gazelle and TripAdvisor.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — CarGurus has named Sarah Welch as its senior vice president of consumer marketing. In her new role, Welch will lead the company’s global consumer marketing initiatives, including brand development and experience, customer acquisition and retention, public relations and consumer product marketing.
Welch has more than 10 years of marketing experience, having previously held executive marketing roles at Gazelle and TripAdvisor.
“Sarah brings extensive experience developing consumer brands, and she will play a key role at CarGurus as we continue to grow here in the U.S. and internationally,” said Langley Steinert, CEO of CarGurus.
Founded in 2007, CarGurus connects potential car buyers with dealerships in their area. The website attracts more than 19 million unique monthly users and is partnered with more than 13,000 car dealerships.
